The Department of Digital Politics and Public Administration of the Generality of Catalonia, in collaboration with the Foundation i2CAT, will set up this next Friday 3 of April the Hackovid.

The Hackovid, a citizen hackathon that has as a objective to resolve the social necessities related with the situation of confinement that we are living for the crisis of the COVID-19, as well as those that can arise later as we return to hte normality.
The Hackovid is directed to the citizenry, that will be able to vote the necessities that they consider more interesting and contribute of new, and to the TIC the community that will be able to offer web solutions or mobile apps to give response. The citizenry and the participants will have to inscribe previously at the platform.
A multidisciplinary jury will value the most innovative solutions and with main potential of social impact. The five better solutions valued will opt at the following prizes: 1st: 7.000 €, 2nd: 4.000 €, 3rd: 3.000 €, 4th: 2.000 € and 5th: 1.000 €. These prizes want to facilitate that the winning squads can continue developing his solution and further his implementation.
The Digital Politics and Public Administration department also will identify those solutions that can be integrated as a service in the App of the Confinement (Confinapp), offering the winners thr channel to reach the citizenry.
